General Practitioners

Dr Sharon Schwartz

Dr Schwartz graduated from Cape Town University in 1982. In 1988 she became a fellow of the College of Physicians of South Africa. Dr Schwartz joined the medical staff of Oakhill Clinic in September 1989. Her interests include care of the aged, palliative care, mental health and care of pregnant women. Dr Schwartz offers antenatal shared care with the Mercy Hospital as well as the Northern Hospital.

Dr Karina Aprico

Dr Aprico completed medical school at The University of Melbourne in 2014. She then completed a further 5 years in training in hospital in many different rotations to gain knowledge in the breadth of medicine that is required for general practice. During this time she completed a Diploma in Child Health and Diploma of Obstetrics and Gynaecology. She is currently completing her training so that she will be able to provide Shared Care for low risk pregnancies. When not working, Karina enjoys being creative and gardening. She looks forward to meeting you and working with you to achieve your health goals.

Karina Aprico

Dr Creski Gilong

Dr Gilong graduated from the University of Melbourne in 2013
and is a Vocationally Registered General Practitioner. He enjoys all aspects of General Practice. He also has over 3 years’ experience as a surgical registrar.
He is interested in the management of skin cancer and has completed a Certificate of Dermoscopy with the Skin Cancer College of Australasia. 

Dr Gilong is interested in Chronic disease management, general medicine, preventative health, Skin checks, biopsies and excisions. Outside of work, he can be seen walking around the local parks with his wife and toddler.

Dr Xing Ling

Dr . Ling graduated from Monash University in 2016 and has since undergone extensive training in various surgical specialties within the public hospital system. Alongside his clinical training, he has also earned a Master of Sport Medicine.

Dr. Ling has a strong interest in sports and exercise medicine, as well as musculoskeletal health. With a background as a personal trainer and swim coach, he possesses a deep understanding of movement and human biomechanics.

Outside of his clinic work, Dr. Ling serves as a surgical assistant to several orthopedic surgeons, focusing on all areas of orthopedics, particularly trauma, spine, and tumor surgery.

In his free time, he enjoys cooking and taking long walks with his family.

Pat Keen (RN Div 1)

Pat is our senior nurse. She graduated as a Registered Nurse (Division 1) in 1983 in London and worked in Intensive Care and pediatrics before moving to Australia in 1986. Pat worked in various positions at the Austin Hospital and was then employed by the District Nursing service in the Preston District before joining our practice in 2001.

Sheree graduated in 2005 as Division 1 Registered Nurse. She has worked in the community as a disability/respiratory nurse for 12 years before her employment at the Austin hospital in the respiratory department. In 2021 Sheree joined our team.

Podiatrist – John Lalogiannis

Graduated in 1998, completed Bachelor of Podiatry at Latrobe University in 1997. A health professional who deals with the diagnosis, treatment and prevention of disorders of the feet. Special interests include wound healing, diabetes, assessing the vascular, neurological and bio mechanical status of the foot, treatment and education to prevent any future complications.

Clinical Psychologist – Rhonda Sidaoui  (For fees please see fees tab)

Rhonda has over 25 years of experience working as a Psychologist in a variety of settings. Her experience has offered her the opportunity to work with clients displaying wide and diverse clinical issues covering the full spectrum of mental health conditions. She has assessed and treated anxiety, depression and trauma related conditions. Rhonda has worked with individuals on self-esteem and confidence bases issues using a CBT framework.

Occupational Therapist – Anna Rebacek

A mental health clinician with well over 10 years experience in the public mental health sector. Graduated as an Occupational therapist in 2004, and have worked in adult mental health since this time. Can support in completing acute assessments, crisis intervention, drug and alcohol support and community linkages.

Exercise Physiologist – Rebecca Noonan

Rebecca is an Exercise Physiologist from PACE Health Management who has a Bachelor of Exercise and Sport Science and a Master of Clinical Exercise Physiology. She works across a wide scope of practice including chronic disease management, rehabilitation, occupational health, disability, and health and well-being. Her expertise are in providing exercise prescription and lifestyle modification strategies to all patients, where her mission is to ‘help people, help themselves’.

Accredited Practicing Dietician- Yasmin North-Stone

Yasmin is an Accredited Practicing Dietitian and Nutritionist, who completed her studies at Deakin University. With a keen interest in empowering individuals to take charge of their own health and wellbeing, Yasmin employs a highly collaborative and client-centred approach to care. She tailors her sessions to suit the unique needs of each client, placing a strong emphasis on sustainable lifestyle changes that enable clients to achieve their health and wellbeing goals.

Yasmin’s dedication to making a positive impact on her clients’ lives is evident in her commitment to working with a diverse range of age groups. She takes the time to understand her clients on a personal level, ensuring that her guidance is tailored to their specific circumstances and aspirations. By fostering a supportive and empathetic environment, Yasmin helps her clients build confidence and knowledge to make informed decisions about their nutrition and overall health.
